Day 1 :Arrival Guwahati Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Station
(GHY) – Tezpur Tezpur (160 Ft / 48 Mts, 190 Kms / 05 to 06 hrs

Arrive Guwahati Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) /
Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) and then drive approx to Tezpur.
Upon reaching, check-in to the Hotel. Overnight at Tezpur.
Day 2 :Tezpur - Dirang (5120 Ft / 1560 Mts, 200 Kms / 06 to 07 Hrs
drive approx from Tezpur)
Today after breakfast drive to Dirang, en route at Tipi visit Orchid
Center and en route visit Sessa Orchid Sanctuary (Blooming time is
from end March till May). Check into the hotel. Overnight at Dirang.
Closure of roads: Please be informed that the road connecting Dirang
from Tezpur, can get closed due to landslide (near Tippi Research
center) even post Monsoon. In such case the vehicle will have to take
a detour via Khalaktang (Rupa) which will involve extra running of 68
km (02 hours extra). This detour will not fetch any extra cost however;
the guests will not be able to visit Tipi Orchid Center and Sessa
Orchid Sanctuary.
Day 3 :Dirang Full day Sightseeing Dirang (5120 Ft / 1560 Mts)
Today after breakfast visit Mandela Top. Back to Dirang & visit Dirang
Monastery. Break for lunch. After lunch go for excursion to Sangti
Valley inhabited by Monpa Tribe. Back to hotel and overnight at
Bomdila / Dirang.
Day 4 :Dirang - Tawang (10000 Ft / 3048 Mts, 160 Kms / 06 to 07
Hrs drive approx
After breakfast, proceed to Tawang (140km) – the land of Monpa
Tribes and major centre of the Mahayana Buddhists. On the way to
Tawang lies the world’s second highest pass – Se la Pass(13700ft)
which run through a small ridge & along a lake called Se la Lake. And
visit Jaswantgarh - a memorial to the brave soldier who single
handedly tried to hold of approaching Chinese during the 1962
Chinese aggression. Upon arrive check in to hotel. Over night at
Tawang.
Day 5 :Tawang- Local Monastery - Tawang (10000 Ft / 3048 Mts)
After breakfast, today visit Tawang Monastery - The Famous
GadenNamgyalLhatse, popularly known as Tawang Monastery was
founded by Merak Lama LodreGyatso in the year 1680-81. The
monastery stands on the spur of a hill, about 10,000 feet above sea
level and has ravines in the south and west, narrow ridge on the north
and gradual slope on the east. It offers a commanding and
picturesque view of the Tawang-chu valley. From a distance it
appears like a fort as if guarding the votaries in the wide valley below.
Tawang monastery is the largest of its kind in the country and is one
of the largest t monasteries in Asia. Though it has the capacity for
housing about seven hundred monks, the actual number of resident
lamas (monks) at present is a little more than 450. This monastery is
the fountain-head of the spiritual life of the people of this region. Also
visit Urgelling Monastery - the birth place of Sixth Dalia Lama. After a
late lunch and refreshment visit Tawang War Memorial and evening at
leisure. Overnight at Tawang.
Day 6 :Tawang – Bumla Pass, Madhuri (ShunGatser) Lake &
PTSO Lake - Tawang (10000 Ft / 3048 Mts)
Today morning after early breakfast, you will drive to Bumla Pass
which is located about 37 km away from Tawang at the Indo-China
border over 15,200 ft above sea level. A further drive will take you to
visit high altitude lake called as Shunga-tser Lake, popularly known as
Madhuri Lake located 35, kms away from Tawang near the China
Border. The drive to Shunga-tser Lake is full of thrill and one can still
see the war bankers that had been used during the Chinese
aggression in 1962. Nestled amidst the pristine mountains and
picturesque surrounding, It was formed in the aftermath of the 1950
earthquake. Prior to the earthquake, this piece of land used to be
employed as the grazing ground for the cattle. The evidence of it can
be seen in the protruding trunks of the dead trees from the middle of
the lake. The lake has been under supervision of Army men, who
have also arranged for a cafeteria nearby. Tourists can relish on the
delicious Momos, Maggis topped with a cup of tasty coffee or tea.
Tourists can also take to trekking around the lake while enjoying the
gentle lashes of the pleasant breeze around. During return take a
photo stop at the beautiful PTSO lake en route (17 kms away from
Tawang, Pangong Tang Tso Lake popularly known as PT Tso which
is an extremely scenic drive with bird’s eye view of the township
below). Later in the afternoon drive back to hotel. On the way back
visit Ani Gompha. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 :Tawang - Local Sightseeing - Dirang (7923 Ft / 2415 Mts,
180 Kms / 06 to 07 Hrs drive approx)
After breakfast drive to Dirang. Rest of the day at leisure. Check in &
overnight stay at Dirang.
Day 8 :Dirang - Kaziranga National Park (197 Ft/ 60 Mts, 205 Kms /
05 to 06 Hrs drive approx)
After breakfast drive to Kaziranga. Upon arrival at Kaziranga, check in
at hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga. Kaziranga National Park: In the
heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the
world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as
many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and
thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by
UNESCO for its unique natural environment.
Day 9 :Kaziranga – Local Sightseeing - Kaziranga National Park
(197 Ft / 60 Mts)
After breakfast go for Optional: Elephant Ride / Jeep Safari (subjected
to availability & operational condition) to one Range. After lunch go for
Optional: Jeep Safari (subjected to availability & operational condition)
to the other Range. Visit Kaziranga National Orchid And Biodiversity
Park (Subjected to time availability & operational condition). Overnight
at Kaziranga. Optional : For rate, kindly refer to Supplement &

ticket & Jeep safari are all regulated and controlled by the forest Dept.
Govt. of Assam. We do not have any control on the booking of entry
ticket & Jeep safari. Elephant rides are conducted and controlled by

ticket counter for booking opens only in the evening, one day prior to

After an early breakfast drive to Shillong en route visit Umium Lake.

Day 11 :Shillong – Excursion to Cherrapunjee – Shillong

After breakfast, today go a day excursion to Cherrapunjee. Enroute
visit Elephant falls. At Cherrapunjee visit Garden of Caves, Arwah

drive back to hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong. Note : Most of the
waterfalls get dried up in winter.
Day 12 :Shillong – Excursion to Mawlynnong – Dawki - Shillong

Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong.
Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong. Also visit
Single living Root Bridge. (45 min gradual walk downwards / 1 hour
gradual walk upwards) After lunch drive to Dawki. Dawki is the
gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions
take place. It is a splendid drive of 30 kilometers passing through deep
gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. On
approaching Dawki is the Umngot River, The Umngot River is the
natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of
Khasi hills over which a single span suspension bridge was
constructed. Drive back to Shillong for overnight stay. Note : Most of
the waterfalls get dried up in winter.
Day 13 :Shillong- Guwahati Half Day Sightseeing (Temple)

After breakfast check out and proceed to Guwahati & depending on
the availability of time, sightseeing of Umananda Shiv Temple (Ferry
Charge on direct payment) & Navegraha Temple. On time in the

Day 2: Shillong – Jowai - Shillong
After early breakfast starts full-day excursion to jowai, headquarters of
the jaintia hills district is situated 66 km away from Shillong, along the
shillong-silchar national highway. A picturesque town circled by the
majestic myntdu river. jowai was the summer capital of the jaintia
kings, of sutnga state. You will visit india's most magical waterfall -
Krang suri Waterfalls ,Phi Phi Waterfallls Meghalaya. A moment of
Silence to acknowledge how beautiful this waterfall is! After visit
Laitlum Grand Canyon. Overnight stay at Shillong
Day 3: Shillong - Mawlynnong - Dawki - Cherrapunji
Post breakfast transfer to Mawlyynong, enroute visit Laitlum Canyon
(if time permit) visit Living root bridge and Mawlynnong Village Asia's
cleanest village. The residents literally farm on the edges of these mist
shrouded cliffs that plunge sharply into the valley, later drive to Dawki,
visit Umngot river & Boating popular for clean water, and local
sightseeing at Dawki. Also visit the Bangladesh border. Overnight stay
at Cherrapunji.
Day 4: Cherrapunji - Nogrihat - Cherrapunji
Early morning head to Tyrna village, a½hr drive away from
Cherrapunji. From there it will take a relaxed 1.5 hr walk down to the
Nongriat Village and then a 2hr walk up to reach double decker Root
Bridge. The path to the double-decker root bridge is 3 Kilometers long
and has around more than 3,500 stairs, and descends 2,400 feet.
Another 1hour of trek approx. 3 km from double decker bridge to visit
beautiful and scenic Rainbow falls. Post activity trek back to Tyrna
village. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.
Day 5: Cherrapunji Sightseeing - Guwahati
Post breakfast in the morning hit the road to Cherrapunjee, the
heaviest rainfall destination in the world Cherrapunjee possesses
some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. At
Cherrapunjee visit Nohkalikai falls, being the world’s fourth tallest
waterfall, Wei Sawdong Waterfalls, visit Eco Park,Seven Sister falls
and Mawsmai cave. Then transfer to Guwahati . Overnight stay at
Guwahati
Day 6: Guwahati – Kamakhya Temple & Umananda Temple -
Guwahati Airport

Day 3: DIBRUGARH-SIVASAGAR (80Km)-JORHAT (55 Km)
After breakfast proceed to Sibsagar. Sibsagar is a city with a rich and
ancient cultural heritage. One can still find the archaeological remains,
palaces, and temples of the Ahoms, which are now preserved as
national monuments. At Sivasagar we will visit Rang Ghar (Oldest
Amphitheater of Asia), TalatalGhar, KarengGhar, Finally transfer to
Jorhat for overnight stay.
Day 4: JORHAT - MAJULI (14 km) - KAZIRANGA (83km)
Morning after breakfast, transfer to Neemati Ghat to take ferry for
Majuli River Island (World largest inhabited River Island) known as
?treasure of Assamese Culture?. We will visit Kamalabari Satra &
Auniati Satra to know about Assamese culture. Night halt at Tourist
Lodge.
Day 5: KAZIRANGA
Early Morning drive to the central range of the park for an exciting
elephant safari to get a closer view, one can definitely encounter
Great Indian One Horn Rhinoceros, after the safari transfer to the
resort for breakfast & leisure. Evening transfer to western range of the
park for memorable jeep safari this range is rich in flora & fauna. Night

Day 6: KAZIRANGA - GUWAHATI
Morning after breakfast transfer to Guwahati, the commercial hub of
Northeast India, also known as city of temple, namely Maa Kamakhya
Temple, Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Umananda Island Temple
etc, After check in at resort the evening is free to visit - Govt.
emporium, Balaji temple or optional Dinner Cruise on Mighty
Brahmaputra (own payment basis). Overnight at resort
Day 7: GUWAHATI
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to the
airport.

Day 1: Guwahati - Bhalukpung ( 250 kms - 5 hrs )
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station meet by our driver.
Transfer to Bhalukpung & Overnight stay at Bhalukpung.
Day 2: Bhalukpung - Tawang
After early breakfast Morning drive to Tawang. Enroute visit Tippi
Orchid Centre. Also enroute witness the snowcapped Sella Pass at
14000 ft and the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. ( Legend has it that
Jaswant (Mahavir Chakra Awardee (Posthumous) of 4th Batallion
Garhwal Rifles), fought a lone battle against the invading Chinese
during the 1962 war. His spirit is still believed to protect the place).
Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 3: Tawang Sightseeing
Tawang - The beautiful land of the Monpa tribes with the “GALDEN
NAMGYEL LHATSE” Monestary - one of the largest Lamaseries of
Mahayana sect in Asia. The birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama, the
Monastery is 400 year old and is adorned with the 18 feet high statue
of Lord Buddha. ‘The Land of Dawn-lit Mountains’ at 3500 mts gives
you unparallel purity of nature. Visit the monastery and the War
Memorial. Evening free for shopping. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 4: Tawang - China Border - Tawang
After Breakfast, Day at a leisure. You may visit Madhuri Lake and
China Border at additional cost. Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 5: Tawang - Dirang
Post breakfast in the morning drive to Dirang. Evening free at leisure.
Overnight stay in Dirang.
Day 6: Dirang - Nameri
After Early breakfast drive to unique Dirang Valley famous for its
monasteries, hot Springs, Apple & kiwi Orchards, sheep breeding
farms & charming valleys. Check in to Nameri Eco Camp / Tezpur for
overnight stay.
Day 7: Nameri - Kaziranga
After breakfast check out drive to Nameri National Park - Located at
the foothills of eastern Himalayas with the the river Jia Bhoroli flowing
through it, the park is the second Tiger reserve of Assam. Many rare
animals inhabit the park. Morning take a walk or Safari at Nameri
National Park. Day free for leisure activities in Nameri like rafting.

Day 8: Kaziranga
After breakfast Visit Kaziranga National Park - The World Heritage
Site is the oldest park in Assam & is located on the banks of the
Brahmaputra River. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for
conservation of biologically diverse flora & fauna. It is inhabited by the
world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses besides
sheltering about 15 species of India’s threatened mammals. There are
numerous other major wildlife fauna. Morning enjoy Jeep Safari &
Elephant Safari early morning at Kaziranga National Park. (Safari
charges additional). Day free for leisure including tea garden visits.
You may take additional safari in the afternoon. Overnight in

Day 9: Kaziranga - Guwahati ( 220 kms - 4 hrs )

6 hrs )
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station meet by our driver &
then proceed your scenic drive to Kaziranga National Park. Check-in
at your jungle lodge/resort and spend the evening at leisure amidst the
tranquil wilderness. Overnight stay at Kaziranga
Day 2: Kaziranga
Starts full-day excursion and exciting elephant safari in the Central
Range of Kaziranga, offering a close-up view of the iconic one-horned
rhinoceros, deer, wild buffalo, and exotic birds. Return to the lodge for
breakfast. Later, head out for a jeep safari in the Western or Eastern
Range of the park to explore deeper jungle zones and grasslands

Day 3: Kaziranga - Shillong ( 268 kms - 6 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Shillong, the charming

Waterfalls
After breakfast, embark on a mesmerizing drive to Cherrapunji

Elephant Falls and Mawsmai Cave. Explore the natural wonders of
Cherrapunji including: Nohkalikai Falls – India’s tallest plunge
waterfall, Seven Sisters Falls, Arwah Cave Spend the night soaking in

Day 5: The Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek
Gear up early for the iconic Double Decker Root Bridge Trek in
Nongriat village. This 6–7 hour round-trip trek (approx. 3,500 steps)
takes you through forested hills, hanging bridges, and crystal-clear
pools. It’s a physically demanding but highly rewarding experience as
you witness one of nature’s most unique marvels — bridges grown
from living roots. Return by evening to rest and recover. Overnight
stay at Cherrapunji.
Day 6: Cherrapunji – Mawlynnong – Dawki - Shillong
After breakfast, head to Mawlynnong, acclaimed as Asia’s cleanest
village. Walk through bamboo bridges, visit the balancing rock, and
enjoy the view from the Sky Walk tower. Later, proceed to Dawki,
famous for the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River. Enjoy a boat
ride on the transparent waters where boats seem to float in air!

Day 7: Shillong – Leisure and Local Exploration
After breakfast, drive back to Shillong . En route, you may stop at
points of interest like Laitlum Canyons (optional, time permitting). In
Shillong, enjoy local sightseeing such as: Don Bosco Museum, Ward’s
Lake, Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians. Evening free for shopping

Day 8: Shillong to Guwahati ( 97 Kms - 3 hrs )4 hrs
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Guwahati.
